Description
Lightweight purity. Manual engagement. 911 heritage re-imagined.
The 2024 Porsche 911 S/T is a modern celebration of sporting simplicity and driver-connection — marrying the high-revving engine from the GT3 RS with weight-saving craftsmanship and a fully manual gearbox. It’s a car built for enthusiasts who crave involvement above all.
Performance & Engineering
Inside the heart of this model is a 4.0-litre naturally aspirated flat-six engine, delivering approximately 518 hp and 465 Nm of torque at 8,500 rpm. Its red-line sits at a thrilling 9,000 rpm.
Power is sent to the rear wheels via a 6-speed GT sports manual transmission, and every effort has been made to minimise mass — the curb weight falls to around 1,380 kg, making it one of the lightest 992-generation 911s.
With this setup the S/T covers 0–100 km/h in approximately 3.7 seconds and hits a top speed of around 300 km/h (≈186 mph).
Design & Dynamics
This 911 adopts a driver-focused approach: no rear seats, simplified insulation, magnesium centre-lock wheels and lightweight glass among the many weight-saving measures.
Aerodynamics take a subtle yet purposeful role — unlike the GT3 RS, the S/T skips the massive fixed wing and instead offers a more understated style, aligning appearance with performance intent.
With rear-wheel drive and no rear-axle steering (another weight-saving choice), it delivers raw and responsive handling that rewards skill and engagement.
Interior & Craftsmanship
Inside, the cabin reflects the car’s ethos: performance first, luxury second. Carbon-fibre trim, minimalist finishes, and a driver-centric instrument panel set the tone.
The manual shifter features short travel and precise feedback; a throttle-blip function helps match revs on downshifts for heel-and-toe clarity.
Options include bespoke finishes and classic touches like a Heritage Design Package for purist flair.
