Description
Unrivalled engineering. Exquisite rarity. The first true “Megacar”.
Step into the rarefied world of hypercars with the 2015 Koenigsegg One:1 — a vehicle built to defy conventions and elevate performance to an entirely new tier. With its world-first 1:1 power-to-weight ratio, it represents a milestone in automotive design and engineering.
Performance & Engineering
Underneath the sculpted carbon-fibre bodywork lies a 5.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine producing approximately 1,341 hp (1,360 PS) and 1,371 Nm of torque.
The curb weight is approximately 1,360 kg, giving the car its “One:1” name — one horsepower for every kilogram of weight.
The One:1 reaches a top speed of around 440 km/h (273 mph), placing it among the fastest production cars in the world. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, ensuring instantaneous shifts and seamless power delivery.
Its suspension features Koenigsegg’s signature Triplex setup, providing unmatched cornering stability and control under extreme loads.
Design & Exclusivity
Production was strictly limited — only six examples were ever built, making it one of the rarest production cars in existence.
Every line of the One:1’s bodywork serves a purpose. The large active rear wing, extended front splitter, roof air-scoop, and extensive use of carbon-fibre and titanium components contribute to extraordinary aerodynamic balance and lightweight performance.
This was also one of the first hypercars to feature fully carbon-fibre wheels, reducing unsprung mass and further improving handling.
Interior & Features
Inside, the cockpit blends racing inspiration with refined luxury. You’ll find premium leather and Alcantara surfaces, exposed carbon-fibre trim, and precision-engineered controls.
Each One:1 was hand-built to owner specification, making every unit a truly unique creation. The cabin is minimalist yet high-tech, with a digital instrument cluster and driver-centric layout focused on performance.
